We are looking for a manufacturing company specializing in petrochemical industry located in Montréal, a senior project engineer to be fulfilled immediately. 40hours/week – permanent position
Job responsibilities
Reporting to the technical director, you are in charge of the following tasks:
• Compile information from field and administrative teams to define needs
• Analyze problems and propose appropriate solutions
• Design technical plans and calculate costs based on the price of materials
• Prepare bids and presentations from a technical perspective
• Estimate and compare the bids proposed by external service providers
• Choice of suppliers
• Obtain the necessary authorizations
• Supervision of project execution and monitoring of progress
• Support the project by proposing technical solutions to the various setbacks encountered
• Other related tasks related to the post
Professional skills
- Autonomous, Initiative and organized
-Analytical and very technical profile
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in a similar position in engineering pre-sales
- Bilingual french/english
- BAC mechanical engineering or chemical process engineering
- ING, OIQ Member
- Petrochemical experience, an asset
