Your responsibilities :
For an agri-food manufacturing plant in Hudson, we're looking for a Chief Electrical Technician to start immediately, day or evening shift. Position 40 hours/week - On-site, Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the following tasks:
- Ensure the smooth operation of the plant's automated systems
- Carry out preventive maintenance and repair work
- Maintain drawings, plans and procedures
- Work with other maintenance specialists (technicians, electromechanics)
- Participate in the installation of new systems
- Modify or propose improvements to systems
- Provide effective feedback to supervisor
- Other tasks related to electrical engineering in the agri-food sector
Your professional skills :
- Ability to step back and diagnose faults
- Organizational skills, autonomy
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
We're looking for a rigorous, hard-working person with a definite appetite for problem-solving.
Your profile :
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar position or in the food industry
- Knowledge of PLCs, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, HMI
- DEC in industrial electronics, automation and control (or other equivalent)
- Salary: $75k - $85k depending on experience
